Construction is underway on the Gold Creek Extension to The Grove in Ngunnawal, a 4.8-hectare development adjacent to the existing retirement village operated by Keyton. This expansion will deliver 45 new two- and three-bedroom independent living units (ILUs), each featuring internal garage access and private covered alfresco areas.
The project also includes the restoration of the historic Gold Creek Homestead, transforming it into a purpose-built amenity space surrounded by green open spaces and manicured gardens for residents and the community to enjoy.
Designed with sustainability in mind, the development aims for a minimum 7-star energy rating, compliance with Adaptable Living requirements, zero-threshold transitions throughout, Passive House compliance, and a minimum 5-star green community rating. The Grove Extension will create an ultimate community for senior independent living, providing future residents with a well-established community and quality leisure facilities.
