The Master Builders Australia National Office in Barton delivers a modern workplace with a strong architectural identity, reflecting its role as a leading representative body for the construction industry.
The project involved stripping the existing first floor tenancy back to an open base build and delivering a 440m² full fitout for Master Builders Australia, a 177m² partial fitout for the adjoining tenancy, and 75m² of refreshed base building space. Works included new circulation and storage areas, a DDA-compliant bathroom, and upgraded electrical, mechanical HVAC, fire detection, plumbing and hydraulic services.
The new office environment incorporates private offices, collaboration zones, a kitchen and breakout area, and a large boardroom, with an operable wall providing flexibility for meetings and events.
Extensive custom joinery was installed throughout, complemented by glazed internal partitions that maximise natural light and enhance connectivity. Feature elements include suspended architectural metal planter boxes, custom curved glass office walls, and a recycled Canberra red brick entry statement, with sustainably sourced timber integrated into feature ceilings and finishes.
