3x Wins at the 2026 Riverina Regions Excellence in Building Awards
4 May 2026
Monarch Building Solutions proudly received three awards at the 2026 Riverina Murray Regions Excellence in Building Awards, held in Albury on Friday, 1 May. The recognition spans three distinct project types — public infrastructure, affordable housing and education — and reflects the breadth of work our teams have delivered across the region over the past year.
In the Public Building under $10m category, Monarch was recognised for the Jim Elphick Tennis Centre in Wagga Wagga. Delivered as Stage 1 of the Bolton Park Precinct activation, the redevelopment produced a modern, competition-ready facility that serves the local community while positioning the city to attract regional, state and national sporting events.
The Apartment Developments award was presented for East Albury Affordable Housing Development. The project consolidated five residential lots into 24 units providing safe, accessible and low-maintenance housing that integrates respectfully into the surrounding neighbourhood.
Rounding out the evening, Monarch was also recognised in the Commercial Project $5m–$10m category for the McAuley Catholic College Primary School Redevelopment. Following the demolition of ageing classroom buildings, the project delivered a modern, purpose-built learning environment with new and refurbished administration and classroom buildings designed to support contemporary teaching practices within the existing campus.
We congratulate all of our project teams on these outstanding achievements. These awards add to Monarch's proud legacy of recognition for building excellence across the Riverina Murray region, and we look forward to continuing to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients and communities.
