The Warrambui Retreat and Conference Centre was originally built in the early 1980’s and was now in need of an upgrade. Monarch were engaged to refurbish the building including an extension for a new commercial kitchen and dining area with capacity for 240 people.

Works included: the demolition of the existing kitchen; removal of asbestos containing materials; installation of the new ceiling; wall and floor finishes; new accessible compliant ramps, handrails and stairs; and new skylights to the dome centrum. The works also included full mechanical, electrical and audio visual upgrades.

A new fire hydrant system was installed which included a new water tank with 144kl capacity and water supply for four hours of firefighting operation.
