Monarch was engaged to deliver the design and construction of a fit-out for the new ACT State Emergency Service (SES) and Rural Fire Service (RFS) premises in Mitchell. This facility consolidates five SES and RFS units into a single location, serving as a joint training and storage hub.
The project involved modernising an existing warehouse and two levels of office space and amenities, constructing a mezzanine outdoor training area extension, as well as replacing the roof to enhance the building’s functionality and longevity.
All works were completed to meet the functional specifications and operational requirements of both agencies.
By completing the project three months ahead of schedule, Monarch enabled early use of the facility, providing significant value to the SES and RFS teams.
