This renovation transformed a classic brick home in Canberra’s inner north, into a refined three-bedroom Hamptons inspired residence. The outdated floor plan was reconfigured, and a master suite addition was seamlessly integrated at the rear, balancing privacy with connection to the existing home.

Inside, custom his-and-her walk-in robes and a sun-drenched ensuite elevate everyday living. French doors and floor-to-ceiling glazing invite natural light throughout, enhancing the home’s seamless flow between indoors and out. Every detail reflects a thoughtful balance between craftsmanship, practicality, and understated elegance.

Externally, the extension’s weatherboard cladding and Colorbond roof evoke the relaxed charm of a coastal retreat. The original brickwork was painted to match the addition, creating a cohesive and refreshed streetscape. The result is a light-filled sanctuary designed for modern family living, with a timeless aesthetic that feels both familiar and fresh.

“THE SPECS WERE FOLLOWED TO THE LETTER, AND WHEN UNEXPECTED HURDLES CAME UP, THEY HANDLED THEM WITH EASE AND CONFIDENCE. THE END RESULT IS A HOME THAT IS EVEN BETTER THAN WE IMAGINED.”
