The Chapman Early Learning Centre is a modern two-storey edcucation facility featuring a variety of indoor and outdoor play spaces.
Site excavation into the hill for the lower level facilitated the construction of the upper level at street level. This approach resulted in a subtle design that seamlessly integrated with the neighbourhood, incorporating split-level external play areas.
The project demanded meticulous craftsmanship, evident in features like the external Barestone cladding and the high-end internal finishes, including intricately designed perforated curved timber ceilings.
Adherence to childcare standards was paramount, with all aspects of design and construction meeting rigorous safety requirements, including the installation of a commercial-grade kitchen compliant with ACT Health regulations.
Despite challenging timelines, our team successfully completed the design and construction of this project on time, enabling the centre to welcome its first enrolments in January 2024.
