Double Win at the 2026 Southern Regions Excellence in Building Awards

31 July 2026

Monarch Building Solutions was recognised with two awards at the 2026 Master Builders Association Southern Regions Excellence in Building Awards, held in Wollongong on Saturday, 25 July. Both projects are part of the ongoing growth of St Peter's Anglican College in Broulee, and it's great to see the work recognised alongside the region's best.

The St Peter's Sports Recreation Centrepicked up the award for Public Building under $15m. Delivered for the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn, the new centre features a fully enclosed double-court sports facility with change rooms, amenities, and four extra classrooms for staff. Designed for dual use, it serves the school by day and opens to the Broulee community outside school hours, bringing elite-standard sporting infrastructure to a regional area. The project also delivered a new bus loop and left-turn exit onto Train Street to ease campus traffic.

The St Peter's HSIE and Performing Arts Centre took out the award for Extensions, Renovations and Refurbishments. The project gave St Peter’s students new HSIE classrooms and expanded the college's music and performing arts spaces, including a new practice building with acoustically controlled rooms and room for a future recording studio.

We congratulate our project team on these outstanding achievements. These awards add to Monarch's proud legacy of recognition for building excellence across the South Coast region, and we look forward to continuing to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients and communities.
