Monarch was engaged to refurbish the infant and senior student amenities at St Bernard’s Primary School in Batemans Bay, NSW.
The new amenities feature an open design that allows natural ventilation with privacy maintained with merbau timber battens fixed to entry sliding screen gates and full height toilet partitions. Custom made acrylic basins, prefinished custom ceiling panels and new epoxy flooring all contribute to the modern design and durability of the new facilities.
Additional works included a new staff shower and toilet, ambulant/disabled facilities, and installation of a new combi oven and stainless-steel benching to the canteen.
Careful staging and consideration ensured the school remained operational throughout the refurbishment works, with minimal disruption to students and staff.
