Monarch was engaged by the ACT Government to oversee the exterior cleaning of the Callam Offices, an architecturally significant brutalist building adjacent to Woden Town Centre.

The scope of works included the selection of sub-contractors, managing access to the site as well as the overall safety of the project. Cleaning work involved a combined approach with elevated work platforms and industrial twin rope access (abseiling) in order to reach all areas of the building’s exterior.

Monarch ensured the safe work methods employed allowed work to be completed with minimum risk to subcontractors and office workers.

The final result totally transformed the building, returning it as close to its original condition as possible.
