Burbury Hotel Roof Rectification

Due to damage caused by a large hailstorm in January 2020, Monarch were engaged to undertake insurance repair works at Burbury Hotel.

Project works included the complete replacement of the metal roofing system including insulation, sheeting, flashings, cappings and box gutters; replacement of the PV solar system; new rooftop mechanical air-conditioning plant; and the replacement of window façade panels.

Additional internal rectification works were also required to remediate the effects of water ingress in some of the hotel rooms and hallways.

The hotel remained fully operational throughout the works which required detailed programming to reduce service disruptions and facilitate noise management.
