Completed on a secure site, the construction of this project followed strict Defence protocols. Such measures included special clearances and arranging special escorts.

The work involved upgrading the foyer of building 29 and 31 to provide additional security measures including bullet proof provisions and the installation of a new base wide alert system. The project involved working in occupied buildings and coordinating construction activities to allow the building to continue to function and minimise disruption to the staff.

In addition, new office provisions were installed to the secure control room in buildings 33 and 35. This was carefully coordinated to minimise disruption to the workflow.
