Breaking New Ground for Batemans Bay Community Health
16 April 2025
Monarch Building Solutions is proud to announce that we’ve been awarded the design and construction contract for the new Batemans Bay Community Health facility.
This $20 million investment by the NSW Government will deliver a sustainable, purpose-built health service on the existing Batemans Bay Hospital site, right next to the Medicare Urgent Care Clinic.
The new facility is designed to bring together a broad range of community-based services under one roof, improving access for residents of Batemans Bay and surrounding areas.
Once complete, the facility will house services including Allied Health, Women’s Health, Aboriginal Health, Community Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol services, Child, Youth and Family Services, Community Nursing and Palliative Care, Pathology, and more.
The design includes consultation and treatment rooms, interview spaces, a gymnasium, and multi-purpose rooms suitable for families, education, and group programs—supporting flexible, patient-centred care for the region.
The project officially broke ground this week, with a sod-turning ceremony held on the grounds of the existing Batemans Bay Hospital. Parliamentary Secretary for Health and Regional Health Ryan Park and Bega MP Dr Michael Holland joined the celebration, marking the milestone with the planting of three trees.
Our local project team is excited to play a part in delivering this vital health facility and look forward to working alongside Health Infrastructure and local stakeholders throughout the project.
