Annual Fishing Tournament: A Reel Success

26 MAR 2024

In February, Monarch Building Solutions hosted our 17th Annual Bream Tournament at Tuross, marking a weekend dedicated to friendly competition and community support for one local charity. This year, our charity partner was Project Independence, an important organisation dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities towards independence.

The tournament saw a genuine display of generosity during a time of growing living expenses, with participants coming together to raise $7,800 in funds. But it didn’t stop there. Monarch matched every dollar raised and made an additional donation, resulting in a total contribution of $20,000.

Today, we were honoured to welcome representatives from Project Independence, including Chairman Glenn Keys and Chief Executive Officer Michael Claessens, to our office. Alongside our gold sponsor, PSC Insurance, we proudly presented the donation, knowing that it will directly impact the lives of those in need.

We extend our appreciation to all our sponsors and participants whose support made this significant contribution possible. Together, we are building positive change and creating opportunities for a brighter future for individuals supported by Project Independence.
