Build Local, Support Local

28 FeB 2023

Earlier this month Monarch’s 16th Annual Bream Tournament was underway at Tuross for a weekend of friendly, competitive fishing and to raise much needed funds for one local charity.

We changed it up for this years' charity event to a Dart Tournament with all proceeds going to Ronald McDonald House Charities ACT and South East NSW. With some very sharp eyes, and some near misses, we had a competitive tournament successfully raising $12,500! This amount has been matched dollar for dollar by Monarch Building Solutions AND with an additional $4,000 donated by McDonald's franchisee Hani and Gehan Sidaros, brings the total amount raised to

$29,000!

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) provide a range of programs to help families with seriously ill children stay together and close to the care they need. Monarch is committed to continuing our support of RMHC through in-kind services providing building and maintenance works to their homes and facilities across the ACT and NSW.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) ACT & South East NSW to our office today to present the cheque alongside our major sponsor McDonald's, as well as Canberra Toyota & Lexus (the primary sponsor of the annual RMHC Lexus of Canberra Gala Ball).

We would like to thank all of our sponsors and those who participated in the charity event. This donation would not be possible without your support.

On hand for today’s presentation (left to right): Joe Pratezina (Director, Monarch), Lee Maiden (Executive Officer, RMHC), Josh Sidaros (McDonald's Franchisee), Valerio Galeotti (Director, Monarch), and Mirko Milic (Dealer Principal, Canberra Toyota & Lexus).

All smiles at the Monarch Head Office in Canberra.
