Completed on a secure site, the construction of this project followed strict Defence protocols, including special clearances and granting of escort privileges for key staff.

The scope of works included the removal of the existing substation and decommissioning of the existing Low Voltage (LV) switchboard. The provision and installation of a new substation and LV switchboard required jointing and extension of existing submains, rerouting existing submains, new consumer mains and submains, new customer and tariff metering, and associated trenching works for LV reticulation.

This project was delivered with minimal disruption to the surrounding base.
