Monarch Secures Contract for New Watson Health Hub

31 May 2024

Monarch is proud to announce that we have been awarded the contract to build the new Watson Health Hub.

This project will replace the aging buildings and infrastructure currently utilised by Ted Noffs and Marymead CatholicCare at the base of Mount Majura in Watson. These organisations provide alcohol and other drug rehabilitation services for young people, as well as residential care for those with mental health conditions.

The new purpose-built facility will consist of four buildings: Calm House, Palm Hub, Palm House, and Catholic Care. Each building will serve different functions, offering specialist support and treatment to young persons experiencing mental illness, or drug and alcohol related difficulties. Operating 24/7, the facilities will offer round-the-clock care in a residential-style environment.

With our proven expertise in healthcare construction, this project highlights our commitment to community wellbeing, solidifying Monarch as a trusted partner in building a healthier future for Canberra.
