Charity Dunk Nets Big Donation for RMHC

28 FeB 2022

Now in its 15th year, the Annual Monarch Bream Tournament is an eagerly anticipated event in the calendar for Monarch employees, subcontractors, suppliers and industry partners.  Over 150 people participated this year over one weekend at Tuross Head to catch fish, socialise, raise much needed funds for one local charity.

This year's tournament Charity Dunk event for Ronald McDonald House Charities was another success raising an amazing $13,000! This amount has been matched dollar for dollar by Monarch AND with an additional $9,000 donated by McDonald's franchisee Hani and Gehan Sidaros, brings the total amount raised to

$35,000!

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) provide a range of programs to help families with seriously ill children stay together and close to the care they need. Monarch is committed to continuing our support of RMHC through in-kind services providing building and maintenance works to their homes and facilities across the ACT and NSW.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) ACT & South East NSW to our office today to present the cheque alongside our major sponsor McDonald's, as well as Canberra Toyota & Lexus (the primary sponsor of the annual RMHC Lexus of Canberra Gala Ball).

We would like to thank all of our sponsors and those who participated in the charity event. This donation would not be possible without your support.
